Tree Tenders Winter Basic Training

Become a Tree Tender with Pennsylvania Horticultural Society (PHS)! Join PHS for a two-day training (Saturday January 25 and February 1) that will cover tree biology, identification, planting, maintenance, and community engagement. You will join one of the nation’s oldest, most respected volunteer urban tree-care programs.

Tree Tenders are given the tools to plant and nurture trees in their own neighborhoods. Regionally, there are over 5000 Tree Tenders from over 100 neighborhoods! Join a group or form your own Tree Tenders group, by attending the training with two neighbors.
