- Renters. There is a national ban on rental evictions effective through March 2021. Learn your rights as a renter, get representation in housing court, and get connected to a wide network of housing resources by contacting NKCDC. - Homeowners. There is a ban on foreclosures from government-backed mortgages through March 2021, including USDA, VA, and HUD. You can also apply for mortgage forbearance. NKCDC will tell you what options apply in your situation, and guide you through getting the resources you need. Call 215-427-0350, email info@nkcdc.org, or request a housing appointment here.
- All utility customers. Households that are behind on their utility bills may be able to get grants of up to $1,000 through LIHEAP. Call NKCDC at 215-427-0350 x114 for help with your application.
