Gentrification Documentary Screening & Discussion
Join Philly Boricuas for workshop that explores how Puerto Rican communities, from the island to Philadelphia, are resisting gentrification. We’ll start with a screening of “Occupied Land” by Bianc Graulau, followed by a facilitated discussion about the roots of resistance, migration, the impacts of gentrification, and the organizing and resistance that have rallied for housing justice and community-led solutions.
Philly Boricuas is a grassroots organization aiming to unite the Puerto Rican community in Philadelphia.
