DIY Home Repair Program
Join NKCDC for free DIY Home Repair Workshops in partnership with the Philadelphia Energy Authority.
These are skill building workshops for homeowners to make simple and manageable repairs, saving the money needed to pay a professional for smaller repairs, building homeowner capacity.
Participants will learn how to make DIY repairs and maintain home appliances while saving money. The first 10 participants receive a toolkit containing many of the tools needed to make repairs!
Workshops will take place throughout November at both the Kensington Engagement Center (3000 Kensington Avenue) and the Kensington Empowerment Hub (2771 Ruth St). To register for a workshop, contact Darnell Morris at dmorris@nkcdc.org.
