Celebrate Trails Day
NKCDC is celebrating Earth Day! And we’re teaming up with Rails-To-Trails Conservancy for Celebrate Trails Day!
Join NKCDC for an afternoon of outdoor fun for the entire family. We will be raffling off some scooters, and a backpack full of outdoor supplies. Our Health and Wellness teams will be there doing a smoothie workshop, and we will have a table with seeds and soil for people to plant starters to take home.
Delaware River Waterfront Corporation will also be on site to talk about an extension of the Delaware River Trail between Penn Treaty Park and Lehigh Avenue, including a connection to the future Graffiti Pier Park. And we will be asking residents for feedback on future temporary uses of the Greensgrow space. Come give your input!
