Community Health Workers
NKCDC’s Health Connectors conduct health screenings and connect residents to health care, healthy food, credit and budget counseling, and other social service resources.
Help during Covid-19
Food pickup. Find all Philadelphia’s city food pickup sites, and locations for free meals for students, seniors and others, on this map. Free pregnancy, baby and toddler supports are also available.
Food delivery. For senior meal delivery, call the Philadelphia Corporation for Aging at 215-765-9040. Food for people with disabilities is available through Liberty Resources. To join this program, call or text 215-709-9619, email food@libertyresources.org, or fill out this online form.
Testing and vaccination. The closest Covid-19 testing site to NKCDC is at Rock Ministries, 2755 Kensington Avenue. Open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 – 11:00 AM. Free; no appointment needed. Go to phila.gov/testing to find more testing sites. Register online to reserve your place in line for the vaccine.
