Special LIHEAP Sign-up Sessions

NKCDC is hosting five special LIHEAP sign-up sessions:

• Friday, November 4, 1:30 PM
• Friday, November 11, 10:00 AM and 1:30 PM
• Friday, November 18, 10:00 AM and 1:30 PM

All appointments will be in the Orinoka Civic House community room, 2771 Ruth Street, Philadelphia. Ten slots per time listed above. Please call 215-427-0350 to sign up. Note: If you are facing a shut-off now, please call Ivette Velez directly at 215-427-0350 x114. 

Please bring:

• ID
• Proof of income for last 30 days
• Recent, complete utility bills (all pages)
• Date of birth and social security numbers for everyone living in your household

About LIHEAP

The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) gives cash grants of $300 to $1,000 help families on low incomes. Households in immediate danger of being without heat can also qualify for crisis grants of $25 to $1,000. These are one-time payments sent directly to your utility company/fuel provider and credited on your bill. They do not have to be repaid.
