A Hub for Civic Engagement and Action
The Kensington Engagement Center is a community engagement and exhibition space for residents of Kensington and the city to envision and co-create strategies to address our greatest challenges and achieve our collective goals.
Since opening in January of 2025, the Kensington Engagement Center has served as a central hub and anchor space to provide resources to the community and to enhance civic engagement and civic action. The space hosts community meetings, partner resources, and workshops and events.
The Kensington Engagement Center is available for groups to gather and convene in and will provide opportunities for residents to connect to opportunities to learn, envision a more just future, and act on co-created solutions.
Launching May 20th: A People’s Exposition!
As we approach America’s Semi-Quincentennial and national attention turns toward Philadelphia, partners from across the city are creating a welcoming space for residents, organizers, practitioners, advocates, and more to come together to learn, connect, and take co-created actions.
We invite everyone to join us for a citywide exhibit and engagement series to take a critical and honest look at key issues shaping Philadelphia today, to envision a more just and equitable future for our city, and to act on solutions that address our greatest challenges.
