OVERVIEW OF POSITION: The Project Coordinator will support Rebuilding Together Philadelphia’s (RTP) mission through volunteer engagement and administrative support. This is a non-exempt position.

POSITION REPORTS TO: Development Director




  • Lead hospitality function (volunteer support, registration, meal planning, ) during rebuilding days.
  • Manage logistics for the annual Volunteer Appreciation
  • Maintain and update volunteer component of Salesforce
  • Answer main telephone and direct
  • Coordinate volunteer surveys and present an analysis of the data once annually to the Board of



  • Print and mail donor thank you letters and smaller donor
  • Deposit checks and record gifts in
  • Manage online giving platforms and ensure that gifts are recorded and
  • Enter new contracts and grants into Salesforce
  • Oversee logistics for annual Run to Rebuild (monthly committee meetings, race registrations, permits, ordering collaterals, and day-of coordination).
  • Provide courteous and informed interactions with volunteer, homeowner and donor



  • Prepares bank documents and gift tracking for
  • Maintain up-to-date forms, certifications, and background
  • Make post office runs, keep office stocked with
  • Maintain inventory of stationery, office/kitchen
  • Manage various subscriptions/purchasing.
  • Support CEO in preparation of Board package, grants and other
  • Take Board meeting
  • Other duties as assigned



  • Strong communication, planning and organizational
  • Comfort working in an office environment that requires regular use of e-mail, shared calendars, and shared network drives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Prior experience with CRM system such as
  • Able to work occasional evenings or
  • Able to work long hours on Rebuilding Days (several throughout the year).



  • Knowledge of housing programs and/or health and human services is a
  • Spanish language skills are a



Full-time salary: $40,000. Health, dental and vision insurance; life insurance; short-term disability; 3% of salary for retirement benefits paid entirely by RTP. Flexible hours but must work some weekend days. RTP is closed the last Friday of every month. This is a non-exempt position. Open Paid Time Off. This position is hybrid but no less than two days must be in the office.
