The New Normal Home Health Aide Upskilling Program is a joint partnership between City Council, Philadelphia Works, and 1199c Training and Upgrading Fund. It is a free training nursing aide training program that is available full-time or part time. Additional supports will be provided including access to child care and transportation, as well as career mentorship and job placement upon program completion.
- You must be a City of Philadelphia resident
- You must have recent employment experience as a home health aide
- You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- You must be able to pass the admissions test
- You cannot have any disqualifying felonies or misdemeanors
- You must be able to attend all classes
