Wonder Walk with LandHealth Institute

Come outside and join NKCDC and Ecologist Scott Quittel from Land Health Institute for a Neighborhood Nature Wonder Walk through Kensington!

– The walk will leave at 3:30pm and last about an hour

– Start and finish at Kensington Engagement Center (3000 Kensington Avenue)

– Slow walking pace appropriate for all ages and abilities

This event is one of many happening over the next few months connected to Co-Creating a GreenPrint for Kensington, a new exhibit and community-led green planning and implementation process for Kensington!

While we are looking toward the future of greening in Kensington, there is still so much to see right now! Put on your “green glasses”, take a stroll through the neighborhood and see your block, street, and neighborhood in a new way!

Through this series of events, we aim to build practical green skills, discuss with community how greening impacts the neighborhood, strengthen relationships with neighbors, and gather community feedback to guide an actionable green plan for neighborhood transformation.
