No Way Home Documentary Screening and Discussion
Join Free the Ballot and New Kensington Community Development Corporation for a screening of No Way Home: the story of a Philadelphia Mother’s struggle to reunite her family and end Life Without Parole in Pennsylvania.
The screening will be followed by a moderated discussion and Q&A about the current political landscape and recent wins, voter suppression and misinformation for people with records, and how to get involved in the movement to end mass incarceration.
These workshops are part of a series called A People’s Exposition. As the nation and city celebrate America’s semi-quincentennial, we invite everyone to join us from May to October for a citywide exhibit and workshop series to take a critical and honest look at key issues shaping Philadelphia today, to envision a more just and equitable future for our city, and to act on co-created solutions.
