The Economic Development team at NKCDC is planning special events and promotions of Black-owned businesses in February.
This Black History Month, we’ll be reflecting on how the past connects to the present and exploring what next steps must be taken to build a more equitable future for our local community.
Our department will be highlighting Black business owners and community-based artists in Kensington, Fishtown, and Port Richmond whose work today is contributing to a better tomorrow for the neighborhoods. Businesses and artists featured in the campaign will be promoted in NKCDC social media, blog, and newsletter content.
