Special Projects

The Land Use Management department implements various beauitification projects through the support of its many partners, including NeighborhoodsNow!, the William Penn Foundation, and the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society. Through the assistance of the Treevitalize program, NKCDC holds two annual tree plantings - one in the spring and another in the fall. Land Use Management also assists in the creation of community gardens and the presentation of Anti-Litter campaigns in our local schools.
